What Is Social Studies?

Social Studies is a multidisciplinary area of study that teaches young people how to become positively contributing, global citizens. Rather than consisting of of historical dates or isolated geographical coordinates, socials studies is teaching students the content, skills and dispositions needed to make a positive impact on the people and world around them.
